The cathedral treasury is located in the expanded historical cellar vaults from the 13th century on the north side of Cologne Cathedral.
The cathedral treasure exhibited here, whose beginnings are attested to as early as the 9th century, houses valuable reliquaries, liturgical devices, manuscripts, vestments and insignia of the archbishops and cathedral clergy from the 4th to the 20th century.

Information on group guided tours inside the cathedral and treasury
- Please check our general information about the guided tours first.
- The guided tours last about 90 minutes.
- There is a maximum of 20 participants per guided tour. Larger groups will be split into multiple tours.
- The reduced rate for children or school groups can only be granted if a maximum of five adults accompany the group, but at least one adult. These are not counted among the maximum of 20 participants.
- Guided tours inside the cathdral and treasury will be paid either on site on the day of the tour in cash, by debit or credit card (MasterCard, Maestro, Visa, V-Pay) or in advance in our online shop (payment methods: PayPal, Visa, MasterCard). Payment via invoice is not possible.
- Tours can be offered in various languages, if suitable guides are available at the preferred date.
